To Loud?

hey guys i have the SLP LM on my 00 ss, it sounds great right now, i just purchased the pacesetter long tubes and the ory, when i get them installed will it be too loud? and if its real loud, does it still sound good or dumb? thanks - BLAke

Most will say the Loudmouth does NOT sound good with headers and ORY. Better off going with a different catback, or at least go with a catted ypipe.

Since you already ordered the stuff just put it on and if you don't like how it sounds then get a different catback. I've heard the LM is pretty loud with LT's and ORY.

Take a look at my sig. I've got all that on my car. It's really loud and I don't mind it but the police sure do. Put it on and at least try it. It's pretty damn loud!

Ive got the same issue, but how would i go about a catted Y pipe? I want to get the Pacesetters, but i also want to have a catted Y, does any one know where i can find a Catted Y that will bolt up to the Pacesetters and SLP LM1

I don't think mine is too loud. I ordered all my parts after reading about people saying it was too loud. Windows up you can barely hear it, unless you are behind the car! It sounds completely BADASS at WOT. People say it is "raspy", but it is all personal preference. It is a love it or hate it thing. I've only had one person say they didn't like the way it sounded, and that was my mom. Everyone else loves it.

I've only been pulled over once. Just keep it mellow around town.

Why should it matter. Weather its too loud or not is something only you can decide, so nobodys opinion is acually worth anything cuase its all personal preferance. I have Headers, ORY, and Borla. Some hate it, I love it. The state troopers here think its too loud, it dosent bother me.
