question after ported tb i ported and polished my tb last night. i could feel a differece in throttle responce. i can now here a slight whistle or whine under light acceleration. i tightend the three bolts to the throttle body pretty tight but didn't want to overtighten them. the whine goes away when i get past 30ish.

Sure you didn't accidentally install a blower? 
It's fairly normal I believe, mine did it when I had an LS6/Ported stocker. The whine going away with MPH instead of RPM is wierd though. Sure it's not drivetrain related?

thats exacly how it is. as the milage goes up the sound goes away.
am sure its not the drivetrain i can here it in the front. my gears were whining when i test drove the car before i bought it. the car had the carrier and gears replaced beofre i bought it 2 years ago
