402, 408 ,427 Stroker Guys Please Come In!!!!!!!

What would be the best catback for my 427 stroker ws6, street / track car.
(Fast 90/90, Mti S1 cam, Tea stage III 6.0l heads, kooks 1/7/8 headers)

I don`t want to leave to much power under the table.

I don`t realy want to run true duals. Anybody have any thoughts, been racking my brain.

I thought that I would need at least a single 4" system.
Was thinking of something like a mufflex 4" spintech setup, but then I heard the spintech muffler sounds good but is very restrictive.

Does nobody else make 4" system?

Do you guys think a single 3" cat back is not to restritive for a 427?

Anybody with 402, 408 or 427 strokers making over 500rwhp with 3" single catback. If so can you post power figures, motor size and brand of 3" catback

y not put some cutouts in , or just one in the i pipe, then when u want all the power avail its there, just do the electronic ones, and a good sounding catback for the DDing - i'm assuming you dd thats why you dont want TD

Check out my current system (the Kooks/SLP one). It's built specifically as a sleeper exhaust that will flow plenty for whatever the hell I plan to do later. I dreamed it up/built it myself, and love it.

Here's a clip. It sounds a LOT louder with the cutout closed on video than it really is. My camera always produces alot of bass for some reason.

my setup consists of 1 3/4 qtp hvmc headers,qtp ory and hooker catback.it did 511/483 cutout closed and 517/493 cutout open.with that 427 you will be moving more air than me so i'd say with a setup like mine you would be losing 10-15 hp with the cutout closed.i don't have a clue what it would put out with duals,i guess it depends on who you ask but i am very happy to have over 510rw through 1 3/4 headers through a fairly quiet exhaust.

Im running QTP LT with a 4" mufflex catback. I gain 3 tenths at the track with my cutout open.

I think what ever I do I am going to need a cutout.

Questsion for the guys with cutouts, which ones are the best and do they leak or seal shut?
(ie exhust ticking)
