headers install gone wrong
On the pass side it should slide right in, but you need to have the car jacked up taller than you can stand and once you get it there jack it some more. The driver side you will probably have to cut the tab on the block. Try and put them in and see where they are making contact and see if something can be removed or something else. PM me if you still are having problems.
PS I just got done installing my long tubes and it was a 10 hour bitch.

Nah yes you need O2 extensions or go to your local parts store and get Bosch # 13111 They are the Corvette O2's and are longer than F-Bodies. Also ditto on attacking from underneath. You may need to jack the motor up a little to install
Dan
I did longtubes and had zero problems, all I had to do was disconnect the steering shaft. Just make sure the car is up high enough and they should slide right in.
And anyone the told you to go at it from the top is RETARDED!!!!

^^is that a practical joke?
--buz-understand that the front end of these cars is from the 80s. the tolerances on this car are horrible, im sure one or two cars can get the macs in from the top. i had to cut the tab and will end up raising the motor form the mount.
take out steering linkage with 2 bolts one on top one on bottom. DO NOT MOVE STERRING WHEEL INSIDE OF CAR
if needed remove oil breather above oil filter w/ 2 bolts.
these have to go in from the bottom
and be careful with the spark plugs, its honestly not that hard just takes 2 people and patients
