Undercarriage rattle
Undercarriage rattle I'm considering buying a 1998 T/A automatic with low miles. It rattles/buzzes underneath when backing up slowly after the motor is warmed up (idle is lower when warm). After reviewing some threads here I found the following possibilities:
1.) Broken catalyst internals
2.) Loose exhaust pipe hanger
3.) Exhaust heat shield (maybe not as it's not that tinny sounding)
4.) Cracked exhaust weld
5.) Rear springs rattling on the spring perch
What else could it be? I am suggesting the dealer take a look at it too.
