belts squeakign
belts squeakign hey guys i ws playin around the other nite and got coolant all over the belts...my buddy nocked into it 
so with that beign said ever since then they ahve been squeaking like crazy. i went to auto store and they told me to buy belt dressing which fixed it for like 4 mins andthen it went right back to it. what should i do....i figured just go ahead and buy new belts per what another person said....what do you guys think maybe this is the time to do an u/d pulley

well, I kinda had this same prob, it will wear off eventually... you could just keep squirting them with belt dressing, or buy new belts... sometime after I had to buy new belts anyway because they wouldnt stop squeaking since they apparently were so stretched

even when the belt dressin mad it go away temperarly you still think its the tensioner?

i wouldnt even mess with the old belt and go buy a new one..i mean they are cheap. hopefully that should solve your prob.
same thing actually happened to me recently and I just replaced the belt and the squeeking went away.

I have used brake silicone(not the spray stuff actually silicone grease) and with the car NOT RUNNING spread in on the ribbed side of the belt the best you can in spots where you can reach and then start the car and let it circulate...helped on a buddy of mines ford ranger...squeaking stopped
