MAF & TB QUESTION?

Default MAF & TB QUESTION?

I have longtube headers with cat-back, slp lid, but not to many more bolt ons other then pro 5.0. If i just port my throttle body and get an ls6 intake all that is necessary? I don't plan on nitrous or a cam. I will be adding 3.90s. However i wasn't sure if i would get better performance for my dollar by buying a bigger TB or intake manifold. Also is the slp maf gonna help me at all or should i just descreen the stocker?

I forgot i have the slp cold air intake that i'm putting on this weekend. with the smooth bellow so i wasn't sure how if that will affect everythign

Sound like a good game plan for a DD... I think the stock MAF is good enough.. maybe just descreen it and get a good tune... ! IMO the biggest bang for the buck is things that get air in and out.. after that.. it's big $$$$...

TB and intake yes....as for the MAF no, slp just throws a different electrode on there mafs....just get a truck maf or zo6 maf and run efi live on it....

With your mods, forget about the MAF. Just get a ls6 intake and ported tb, and you will be good to go. Could also think about duals, the Bassani kit is nice and refined, and will add more tq than a ypipe setup.
