Magnaflow / Hooker

Hi guys, I am into bang for buck. I see a lot of threads on which cat-back sounds best. But I have decided that I want the hooker or magna flow cat-back. I have hooker Lt's and y. Power wise any opinions between the two.

They are similar in pretty much all aspects as far as quality and sound.

I'd say try to find either some local cars with each or at least sound clips.

Magnaflow is stainless, hooker isn't.

i had a hooker on my lt1...sounded great. pipes needed to be tweaked a little tho...

i just got my hooker on with my mids and ory, and the idle is quieter than stock with a cutout, but once you get up in the revs, it sounds much better and really wakes up. i vote hooker so i can hear my radio when im cruising

I have hooker exhaust and I love it. If you are in a place where you will rust and plan on keeping the car for awhile then get the magnaflow because it is SS, other wise just get the hooker. They both flow great and sound very good. I also went with the hooker because the tips looks better on the T/A in my opinion. If I had a camaro I would of gotten the magnaflow. just my .02 cents.

I've been debating this for awhile myself. Hooker is quiet, sounds good, and is cheaper.
Magnaflow is a little louder, sounds pretty good, is stainless steel, but is more expensive..
