90mm or larger air lid?
90mm or larger air lid? Does anyone make a 90mm or perhaps 100mm air lid? I haven't found any so I am thinking about modifying mine to make it a 108mm airlid. I need something to work with my victor jr. Intake.

The normal air lids are big enough for a 75mm ID MAF to fit inside of. Go measure your current one.
One recently sold on ebay and was at $185 the last time I looked. I rarely see them for sale used and you cant get them new any longer. I bought the K/N FIPK for mine when I went to an SD tune as it was easy to modify and I have a staight 4" tube from the filter to the TB. I put the sillicon reducer off the filter in boiling water and easily stretched it over the 4" OD pipe with a coupler on the TB.

its really nice. But I am wanting to utalise the fast toys ram air that is already on my car. I bought a 4.25"i.d. Pvc pipe and want to just cut the hole in my air lid and epoxy the new one in trim to fit sand and paint.... Thanks Brett!
I would think the K/N FIPK would out flow the stock sized filter due to more filter surface? I would like to see some real world back to back testing from someone on this. If my theory is right then the stock sized filter will be the restriction over the 4" OD pipe?
The old school rule of thumb was the bigger the air cleaner the better, some guys would even stack two air cleaners on top of each other...lol
I had a 3" dropped base with a 6" K/N filter under the hood of my 69 Camaro with the stock cowl hood.
