Easiest wayto track down a vacuum leak? What is the easiest way to track down a vacuum leak on my car?
Finally got some time and some down time with my car and I think I have a vacuum leak somewhere on the car but not sure how to locate it or find out if I have one at all.

With the motor off, grab a buddy that is a smoker. crack the throttle and stick a hose inside the TB, and tape it off. Have smoker buddy blow smoke into the engine. Watch for it. Of course do this in a non-windy and well lit area
yup yup slow67 is right, it's faster and easier to look for a cloud of smoke than trying to hear for a hiss. they also make a smoke machine just for this kind of problem.... but watching a buddy trying to blow for very long is funnier/y lol

I think the quick and cheap way is the use a can of spray carb cleaner.. spray a little (enough to soak the area) around each of the vacumn area that you suspect to be a leak.. if the RPM change.. you found your leak. PCV, Power Break line, intake manifold, TB Gasket ... etc..
