Default Thermostat V6

Ive got my girls car for awhile, and the thermostat is out, i need to know how to change it. (sorry for the noob question) So, i need answers, Thanks!

not sure bout a v6 but on a v8 you just follow the outlet tube from the radiator to the intake and the thermostat is right there. once you take off the hose and spill antifreeze everywhere, it should be pretty self explanatory, couple of bolts plug and play. Hope this helps.

Its to the right of the front of the intake manifold. Looks pretty much like any other thermostat housing.
