Not running a Y, running duals. The header was that close to the filter before the exhaust was on. So it's not the duals.

Contacted the dealer I purchased it from and they said if the headers had been installed they couldn't exchange them. Told them the situation (for the 2nd time) and they asked me to send them the pics. He said that Pacesetters known for being dicks and he'd give them a call for me.

Sent the dealer the pics and a link to this thread. (**Sponsor here**)

If the headers are fucked up, it shouldn't matter if you installed them or not. There's no way for you to tell they were messed up before you installed them. Deciding you don't want headers after they are installed is a different story.

If the headers were like that before the rest of the exhaust went on, something got tweaked in the jig while welding. I don't understand why companies make a stink about standing behind their product, it's not like you got them for free.

Well pulled the header Sunday.. Got it boxed up to ship to Pacesetters. He's going to put it in his jig to check it out. Hopefully by the end of the week, I'll have a new header on its way to me. Not sure what I'm going to do if they say they kind find a problem..

That's some bad luck man... I'm hoping to order my Pacesetter LT's this summer if I ever get around to actually doing mods I wanna do. Hoping I don't experience the same problem.

You definitely got a shitty set, I've never seen this problem before, and as far as fram goes, I've ran their oil filters on all the cars i've owned and i've never had any problems.

Heard back from the Pacesetter guy today. He claims that the header fit in the jig fine. Said there was barely any difference between my header and the ones they just produced. Then he went on to say that he's not sure where the problem was and it must be something on my car. Just as I was about to lose it, he says, "So anyways, we will be shipping you a new header today."

It would have been better for him to just say "Yep! Something was a little off, so I'll ship you a new one, sorry for the inconvenience!"

Glad you're getting it worked out, sorry you had to deal with all that ****.
