Default Underdrive pully....

OK so I have a ASP pully on right now and me and the tuner have narrowed my SES light down to it. It seams to be throwing a random missfire code when it sits at idel to long. Im going to replace it but I dont know witch one to get. SLP? March? Or a dampener? What would you suggest?

Keep looking, pulley has nothing to do with the missfire code. That's like tracing winshield washer fuid problems to your seatbelt buckle.

Have you swapped the coils from another car into yours? You may have a coil problem.

I use the SLP/Powerbond, and have never had this issue. I'd agree with what has already been stated though...I have a hard time believing that the pulley is the culprit here. ASP makes a nice pulley...do you still have your stock balancer? If you do, swap it back on and see what happens...

Thats my prob. No stock ballancer. Also we BELIVE/LOOKS like its a ASP. I got it used and swaped it. I know it sound wierd but both me and FFP in sac belive its the culprit. Im a Service adviser for FoMoCo. Dosent make me a expert but I know my stuff.
