you can buy pacesetters with just air fittings or you can delete your air system and get the codes tuned out and go with race style

It is easy to take the air. I would get the race style... The air hook ups dont fit for crap (at least mine didnt). If I was to go back I would get the race style

I've heard the new predators will tune the codes out, but not certain. Any one of our sponsors can do it for cheap, usually way less than the cost of a normal tune. MTI charged me $75 to delete all my codes.

Is the code mentioned above a mail-order tune? Also, which other sponsors can delete common codes?

Anyone who does mail order tunes, or dynotunes, can do it.

Have them delete AIR/EGR/Rear O2 (no need for O2 sims)/EVAP/Fuel tank pressure codes. This way you can trash all the emissions equipment. You can keep it, and it will work, but it just won't set the SES light if you disconnect it.

I was planning on ordering Pacesetter's, and through some extensive searching everyone seems to recommend the "race style" headers. So, order the "race" headers, buy a mail-order tune with the mentioned group of common codes deleted, and I should be golden?

I got the set with emmission fittings and wish I didn't. I ended up tuning everything out and now have all that extra crap to look at.

I haven't removed mine yet, I just had it turned up so it doesn't kick on. As far as I know you won't need new belts. The pump itself is located behind the drivers side fog light and you remove that and all the hoses. I know there's an old post somewhere that details the whole job.
