if you are ever gonna spray in the future you will be glad you have the weiand. Lot less worries of ever blowing a hole in that intake.

^Yep^

Isn't one of the selling points for the FAST the bung that allows excess pressure get out so it doesn't blow the intake.

The Weiland doesn't have to worry about it since it isn't brittle plastic.

I would probably go with the LS6 or save your money and get the FAST.

i was assuming this one is satin, he doesn't say. If it is polished that's a hell of a deal.

WHY WOULD YOU NEED TO SELL IT WHEN YOU CAN PORT THE MESS OUT OF IT TO FLOW MATCH A PAIR OF STOCK HEADS, OF WHICH HE HAS AND IS REFERRING TO, AND IF YOU WERE GOING TO GET AFTERMARKET HEADS THAN A BIGGER INTAKE WOULD FLOW BETTER AND PROBABLY BE BETTER FIT TO FLOW MATCH THE HEADS
BUT YEAH WHY NOT BUY A INTAKE THAT LOOKS GOOD
AND BY DOING MY RESEARCH LONG AGO I BELIEVE THAT THE LSX INTAKE BOLTED STRAIGHT UP TO A FACTORY ENGINE ALSO WORKED BETTER, WITH THE SAME LOW END POWER BUT BETTER UPPER END. DUH

WELL IF THE TUNE IS RIGHT THAN WHY WOULD YOU WORRY ABOUT ANY KIND OF EXCESS PRESSURE. LOOK AT ALL THE FASTER FBODY CARS OUT THERE I DONT THINK THEY HAVE A WEIAND INTAKE.

It is not about that i dont like the intake, the intake does not work well so before you go pointing fingers, I was trying to help someone not to spend money that they dont need to duma**. And about the caps I'm at work so i hope this thread is up to the standards of small minds!!!

I said it was a selling point. They advertise it.

Lastly a tune isn't going to help you any if their is enough pressure from a FUBR to cause your intake manifold to explode.

LOL, small minds. Your a funny guy. I'm at work also but bright enough to hit the caps button to turn them off when posting.

There have been just as many people that love it as hate it & several times senior members have commented that the difference isn't noticable enough at the track where it counts to worry about.

If you live for dyno numbers, thats sad. Let real world numbers on the track or on the street performance speak for its self. Everyone who is running one that was smart enough to not have leaks are happy with the intake, its performance & its strength.

Your not talkin to a small minded punk kid, so don't get it twisted.

Punk!!! Obviously i am talking to a kid because all i have said about this intake is that is does not perform better than the ls6 intake!!! 12 hp and 6 ft lbs of torque i believe does make a difference at the track, so i dont think it is about the numbers. And as i said before I was just trying to help someone and now you are trying to talk down to me like I am some "Punk" F**k you dude!!! Dont make this into something other than trying to help someone!!!!

Your reading comp is very lacking. I said I'm no punk kid. God you can't even read properly & your tryin to give advice. And the 12hp isn't that big a difference at the track buddy. I have seen numerous cars with less power beat cars with more on several occassions.

Just quit talkin now or your gonna get his thread locked. You wanna be a tuff e-thug send me a PM, otherwise like I said before STFU mister 35 posts!!

This is my last post on this thread dumba**. Post has nothing to do with experience so whatever was meant by that, but anyways. And like i said before i was just trying to help the guy who started this thread on an intake. So obviously you are trying to be an e-thug and start something against me because i said something about the weiand intake. But enough wasting my time with "small minded" people!!!

ok dude. You really have no clue what the hell just was said in the past few posts between us as your last post just showed.

I could really give 2 ***** weather you would use the intake or like it. So thats not even an issue. Your mouth & "small minded" comments got this started. I'm no e-thug by no means at all & if you knew my screenname on here you would know I try to help people as much as I can, be it in the external section or wherever else on the board.

I just can't stand people who talk out their ***, which is all you have done in this thread.
