Default Hooker or Pacesetter LT's?

Which one is better? I have narrowed it down to those 2 choices.

This is the exhaust section.

Anyway. I have hookers on my Z28. They are okay....I would have rather picked up the coated pacesetters for what I paid for uncoated hookers.

Pacesetters = more affordable, great quality

Hooker = more expensive, same quality (paying for the Name)

In my opinion, if you're not going to dish out the cash for stainless headers, you might as well go with the Pacesetters. Cheap, proven performers, good fit...you can't really go wrong with them.

pacesetters all the way, if you buy the hookers you are throwing away money, as the pacesetters do the same thing and are cheaper.

The Hookers, Pacesetters and Jet-Hot are pretty much the same design (Hooker initiated). You can't go wrong with either. I have Jet-Hot coated Hooker LTs on my 2001 Camaro SS since about mid-2002. There are still going strong and no leaks. I have Pacesetter headers on my truck, quality is the same as Hooker. Purchase what ever you are comfortable with, you will be happy either way.

Let it be said that the pacesetters, while still a great header, are only 1 5/8 primaries, unlike the hookers which are 1 3/4.
