Default removing tb accessories

what bit is used to remove the screws that hold the accessories onto the tb? looks like a regular 6 star bit will work, but there is a "nipple" in the middle of the screws. thanks

Do you have a pic of what exactly you are trying to remove..most of that stuff is pretty much regular Torx Keys.

That is called a"security"bit. It's a torx screw with a nipple in the middle.I bought a whole kit with different sizes at Murrays auto, think I also saw them at auto zone.

I agree...it's a security torx bolt. Any good auto store should have the bit you need...

I bought a kit from Advance Auto for like $5, I've used it TONS of times, has all kinds of different bits, adapters, etc. It's got a 1/4" drive ratchet to hex-bit adapter, and a bunch of allen head bits. You can chuck them up in that and remove allens quickly. It says " Mech Power" on the outside. Here's a pic of the inside....
