Will this http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=195&catid=46 bolt up to my stock y pipe? Im new to ls1 exhaust so I don't know? And if it does will I notice much if any power gain?

Dont know if it will hook up, but it looks like it should. I just took my stocker out. As for gains, you could see 3hp to as much as 14hp, all depends on the mixture of mods and the system.

Ya the car is stock and this will be the first thing I will have changed. So I need to know if the stock y is good to go or if I have to have a custom made one or just buy one?

If it's created for your ls1 model then it would surely fit. I opted to have Mercedes aftermarket parts with my old car. It's kinda cheaper. But right now, I buy the parts of my ls1 on stock. Qualit-wise idea
