Default Stupid oil pressure sending unit!!!

Snapped mine off when I was barely even moving the intake. I hadn't even got it an inch forward. Why the hell does NO auto parts store stock this item? I need to be on the road this weekend! Anyone have any ideas for a store to get it at? I live in Michigan. Already called Napa, Autozone, Advanced, Car Quest, and Auto Value.

Welcome to the club WHy don't you try the Chevy dealer? It might be a little more expensive, but if they have it in stock it'll shurely relieve some headaches.

x2 for the stealership. I didn't know these were so hard to come by. I snapped mine when I put an LS6 intake on a few years back but was able to find one at an auto store pretty easily. I didn't snap it when I did my FAST 90 because I held my hand back there while lifting the LS6 out to ENSURE the hose was clear of the sensor before pulling it outward. IIRC the sensor is about $50.

Problem might be because it's for a '98 - thinking they're different than the '99-'02.
