whats the affect of running with no lid or air duct. ive seen guys running
mafless with nothing on the tb at all, like wide open throat.
can you run that for just a streeter car,, thanks

Dont do that. Thats very hack like to run with no filter. You wont notice any difference in power. Do it right. Run a proper lid with filter.

 

ya ive got the air hog filter and slp lid ,, just wondering, see a lot of guys at the
track running like this ..

 

it would be differnet doing it at the track for 1/4 mile than driving everyday wiithout a filter...although I dont think having it off would make a huge difference...and the guys running without a MAF are doing so becuase they are using a Speed Density tune.

 

i know guys at the track run without a lid and filter sometimes. BUT most everyone else plays it safe and keeps it all on. i dont think the improvments are that large and definately not worth the risk
