Oil pump install?
I am doing the dreaded oil pump install this weekend and i want to make sure i have everything i need. Am i going to need all new gaskets or can i reuse my old ones? I know i need a new crank bolt and all the fluids. Am i missing anything? Thanks in advance.

You'll need new WP gaskets since it's got to come off. Also will need a front cover gasket and a crank seal. Some folks reuse the front cover gasket, but I've always replaced them. Make sure you have the right o-ring btw.
That with the proper fluids should just about do it.

You can get away with reusing the front cover gasket and crank seal, but I like to replace them personally. You also need a new oil pump o-ring and water pump gaskets. Get threadlocker too.

Well i guess i will replace all the gaskets. How do i know if i got the right O ring for the pickup tube, the one i got is blue. Do i need to replace the timing cover gasket? Is it metal or paper?

I replaced my timing chain gasket when I did mine, I suggest you do the same. It's metal, with a rubber o-ring like material around the inside. Check LS1howto.com's cam swap section for more info, also part numbers listed on the main page (look at the top).
