Default Y-pipe question

I am trying to get a 4" ORY on the cheap. Can I take a 3-->4 flowmaster merge and weld it onto a normal 3-->4 Y? If I can, who makes a y that mates up good to Kooks headers. I know, I spent the money on Kooks headers, why not spend the money on a new Y. I am just trying to save a couple hundred bucks here. That ****($) is flying aout the door faster than I can keep up with it!! Thanks

Keith

I would buy the collector and cats separately, then take it to a reputable exhuast shop. They should be able to build a ypipe for you right on the car for cheaper than you could buy it for, and it should fit better custom too.

Not many exhaust shops will bend 3" pipe. Good luck finding one that can bend 4". I believe Mufflex is the only compny that makes a 4" y and it's not cheap. Nearly $300.
