Mass Air Question.

I just bought a 98 SS it has SLP cold air, exhaust, SLP mass air, and some suspension mods. I have the stock meter would I be better off puttin it back in or leavin the SLP one on the car?
I'm askin cause I've heard you can lose power with aftermarket meter's.

Put the stocker back on and sell the slp one on here youll prob make a good $100 thats what i would do anyways.

Yeah burnt it.. Ive been told the stock ones are the best ones out right now.

Well, if the car is tuned for that 85mm unit....leave it. If not, I would take it off and sell it.

I put the stock one back on, but somebody already took the screen out. Not sure whether to keep it that way or sell them both and get another stock one with the screen off ebay.

I just did the throttle stop mod last night well worth ten minutes of work. Die grinder and a carbide cuttin tool makes short work of that stop. Anyway there was a cone shaped piece of plastic somebody put in the smooth bellow right before the TB. The small end of it was considerably smaller than the opening to the TB, I figure I was losin 10 to 20% of my air flow. Made a nice difference.
