Going the LS6. what do i need to know?

Default Going the LS6. what do i need to know?

Im sure this has been talked about but....
Going to LS6 intake. I know to watch out for the oil sending unit. Anything else? What about the whole coolant line's? what are my options there

Your going to need a coolant line kit! you can find it at WS6store.com all camaro's 98,99 and 00 need this kit of your switching from a ls1 style intake to a ls6 or FAST! make sure you get new O ring gaskets also! other than that your set!

I thought it was possible to just cut the bottom of the manifold to fit over the lines?

Yeah your right you can cut the bottom part of the manifold on the ls6 and fit the lines! Since im getting the FAST you cant do that!

It is , but i wasnt cuttin crap! I did however think pretty hard about finding the coolant lines to match the front of the engine for the back. Im not so sure i like the idea of blocking off coolant passages.
