Default Power Steering

How does the Power Steering Pump bolt on the F-body Cars? I haven't taken one apart or seen one, so I don't know how it is.
Anyone have a Diagram for the hell of it..

I have, there are two hoses-a high-pressure hose and a low pressure hose. The high pressure is on the passenger side of the pump and bolts on with either a 15mm or a 5/8", I think it's a 15mm. The low pressure side is on the driver's side of the pump and has a clamp on it. You drain the pump with a turkey baster, then use a rag around the low pressure hose to pull it off. You will get fluid everywhere.

Next you have to pull the pulley, or break it off. Once it's out of the way, you'll see 2 13mm bolts on either side of the pump hub. It's pretty self-explanatory from there.

Getting it on sucks, you either have to put the pump on and then press the pulley, or do what I did and get a pulley with holes in it for the bolts to bolt it to the bracket. I recommend the holes way since my buddy and I had to pound on the pulley for about 30 minutes to get it seated all the way, and doing that while the thing is in the car would be hell.

advance auot sells a power steering pump pulley puller. we got alot of good use out of it since we had to take it off eleventybillion times to find the leak. but thats real handy. i think it was only like $25 but it made everything so much easier.

Pull the pulley off, then the pump is bolted to the bracket with 3 bolts undo them and then unod the 2 hoses that connect to the pump. Thats it, pretty easy.

I was able to remove the pump without pulling the Pulley.. remove the two lower bolts and then use a narrowed wrench (grind down a cheap one or use a Bikecycle wrench) and then slip it in between the pump and the head and start turning.. that is all I did to remove the pump (the pump, pulley all stayed together as a unit).

Not trying to make it a dumb question.. I just don't have a LS1, and never had one apart. I knew about the Pulley thing, I have the complete Pump and Pully assembly already loose, I am gathering up all my parts. I wonder if I drilled a couple of holes in the Pulley big enough for the Bolts, that might work also. I was thinking of 3 holes, so it's balanced out still.
