lid question

lid question

well i got a slp lid for a 98-99 and its for my 01 t/a it fits on and all but for the breather filter i got one of those ones for the valve covers would that work ok for it. like i just wanna know will it cause any problems

You're putting a filter on the lid? Just get a 1 1/8" chrome plug at home depot in the hardware drawers and plug it with that, bend the tabs over so it doesn't fall out and maybe paint it black.

Or if you're talking about a breather for the air tube yes you can use a valve cover breather.

no not on the lid it came with a plug for the lid im talking about the rubber hose that went to the stock lid

You ned to explain yorself better. Look at pics of the right lid. Go to a sponsers site and compare the 00/01/02 lid to the one you bought(98/99). 00/01/02 lids have a hose going into the side. You want to just put a breather filter on to the hose and not the lid ? If so that is fine.
