Default Exhaust Question

Ok tried doing a search but my computer is being stupid. How hard is it to install a new muffler/tips yourself?

the 80 series catback comes with a muffler. however, i would rethink your exhaust choice. the flowmaster cat back is known for not flowing much better than stock.

the stock exhaust comes off easiest by cutting the pipe that goes over the axle and slipping it out from either side of the axle. i would get atleast 2 cans of WD40 or PB blaster and soak all the bolts holding it on the night before. a good half inch socket set and some gear wrenches. a persuasion device for your stock stuff, and a 12 pack of cold ones.

I had a flowmaster 80 on my camaro and i loved the sound. Stock is too quiet. I had magnaflows on my '86 T/A with a mild 350 TPI and was still quiet.

i agree it sounds good, but there are other systems out there that sound as good and flow better.
