ls2 intake on an ls1...

ls2 intake on an ls1... i have LS1 wiring and got an intake, fuel rails and injectors from an 05 LS2 and i think to use the ls2 injectors i need to change the injector clips to ls2 style. but is it worth putting them on my car because i have the painless wiring harness and i dont really want to cut it to put the other clips on. or should i try to use the ls1 fuel rail ect? if so what do i need to do to use it. and also i plan on buying a 90mm TB as well for the cable TB....only reason i am posting is because it seems on my computer( or everones?) the search function is down....

From what has been posted the LS2 intake has no real advantages over the LS6 intake as far as power goes other than they have a larger throttle body opening than the LS6 intake.
The original posted has TPI in his name, so is this for a TPI conversion or for a LSx baised car?

no my older car was TPI. my vega is an LS2 car now with ls1 heads....and the ls2 intake outperforms the ls1 and ls6 depending on what you are looking for. if you are looking for max HP at 7k or 6500 it makes a difference.

i already have the different coolant crossovertubes so i dont need those. i think all i need is the ls2 injector clips...but should i just stick with the stock ls1 style injectors and buy bigger ones or keep the ls2 injectors?
