Default exhaust leak

my car has a header leak i put in some pacesetter lts and came out perfect and just recently the driver side gasket gave out and i changed it with a copper gasket and there still seeems to be a small leak barley noticable but its there.. can this leak be causing me to lose gas mileage cause i filled it up yesterday and im almost on half a tank ive gone to school and back usually when it didnt leak a whole tank would last a week

It could be robbing your gas mileage.

Get metal gaskets from GM.

check the code, if the leak is at the header gasket, i would think that air could get sucked in which would go through the header. Once it hit the o2 sensor, the sensor would tell the computer that there was more oxygen in the exhaust(aka running lean) so the computer would try to compensate by adding fuel. Just a thought.
