Default Louder Idle

Right now I have a LM1 and i love the sound when moving and espeically at WOT, but i think that there is more to be desired at the idle. I know a cam would be the best upgrade or an ORY but i dont want to deal with CA smog with either of these. Is there anything else that I can do to get a better sounding idle?

you dont wanna do lt's and ory with a lm1....it ruins the sound of it. it gets so damn annoying, loud, and raspy. i just sold my lm and bought a hooker catback b/c im so sick of the sound

ya i want to avoid the no cats because of cali smog and the car isnt driven too much and heads cam + tune doesnt fit into much college lifestyle budget (rather pay for fraternity and cancun spring breaks) so i was just wondering if there were any alternatives to the two above

Headers and aftermarket y-pipe with high flow cats. Or you could just get a cutout.
