Default Coolant Crossovers Intake HELP HELP!!

so when i put on my new ls6 style coolant line, the ls1 crossover style goes away and the back two holes get plugged correct? Is this bad for cooling? No guesses please. can i get a line that just loops in the back keeping the fluid still able to flow across the back, also my ls6 intake did not come with any foam underneath it should i just pull it off the ls1?

You can use a front coolant pipe on the back - far as I know the 01/02 cars have plugs, never looked at mine.

I'll leave the answer about cooling to someone more experienced.
But you can connect the two rears by using a LS6 front on the back and plugging the middle outlet with something.
This method is shown on the ls1howto intake install instructions.

The way I did it was to cut the extra plastic off the bottom of the LS6 intake, took about 1/2 hr, saved $35, and it works fine. I think I have the part # for the foam, Have you bought all the other parts you need, because GM has a nice install package of parts. Let me know.........I am not sure of the purpose of the foam, but GM put it there for a reason

I installed the tubes and put white lithium grease on the top surface of the tubes. Sat the intake on without the foam and it made enough marks that I was able to cut the ribs from them. I probably cut about 3/4-1 inch the whole way. It worked fine on the install.
