If don't want those rumblers pass them over here. I'll take them off your hands.

I went from a TSP Rumbler to a Magnaflow. I prefer the Magnaflow as a DD, but did love the coldstart/idle/WOT of the TSP Rumbler. Starting up, with no cam, and setting off car alarms in parking lots, nice loud raw idle, and it screamed like a prostock at WOT.

But..
I was not a fan of the 2200-2500rpm rasp. And DDing with a stall ment I was either always going to hit that range, or have to go over it, which made for very loud driving around town.

I have magnaflow now with slp LTs and ORY and I don't like it. It has too much of a metallic sound when you rev it. Almost sounds ricey to me sometimes...

I'm used to that old sbc sound...i want something like that...

Wow, never realized people didn't care for the Borla tips. I personally love them.

Ok I have on my Z28 in order; TSP Rumbler, open ORY- SLP Loudmouth. Borla, True Duals with chammbered mufflers, and now the GMMG catback.
I think the GMMG is the best exhaust out of all of them. The loudmouth was second followed by the Borla. I really didn't like the sound the TSP Rumbler gave me at all.

Here's some clips of my different catbacks:

TSP Rumbler (stock manifolds, cats, ypipe):

SLP Loudmouth 1(LT Headers, ORY) I still love that sound

GMMG Inc Catback (LT, ORY, Cam on a 110LSA). This one really is my favorite. The start of the video shows my nitrous purge that some friends wanted to see.

I wish I could help more but I don't have a clip of my Borla and I always seem to have a different setup on the different clips. I mean one has headers, one doesn't, and one has a cam so that hurts when you're trying to compare them.
I personally liked the Borla. It was nice being able to close it off and have a nice quiet drive when you wanted it and an open raw sound when you wanted that.

I don't notice a metallic sound with my Magnaflow, just a quieter exhaust and no drone or Machine-Gun Rasp when compared to the TSP Rumbler. I have had compliments on both. Most F-body people like the Magnaflow better, some people who just like a loud *** car liked the Rumbler more.

If I had to do it again, paying retail, I'd buy a TSP Rumbler again. Great product for the price.
I only switched to the Magnaflow because I got one for $200 and wanted to drive around town without attracting every cops attention within a miles vacinity.

My Rumbler doesn't really have rasp between 2200 and 2500, but it DOES drone between 2100 and 2400 or so.

If I was to do it again, I'd go with the Rumbler again in a heartbeat, especially at the price.

My original plan when I bought my Camaro was to go true duals, but the car I bought came with a Borla Cat-Back. It sounds great and I've now scratched the true duals idea. If you want I'll get a sound clip, or, where in Philly do you live . . In the city or outside it.

PM Me

Also, the exhaust piping from Borla has over 50,000 miles on it and it still looks brand new . . And the Tips, I think, are sweet.

Good luck . .

I love my borla. Was expensive. But Ive yet to hear a better sounding cat-back. Im suprised people dont like the borla tips. Honestly I like them better than others.

My vote for Borla

Well I had a Rumbler until today it was a good sounding exhaust but after 3 years of winter drivng it rusted through in spots around the muffler welds. Now I just clamped a striaght piece of pipe on the Y pipe with a flowmaster 1 chamber muffler on it dumped before the axle. It sounds 10X better than any other Y pipe exhaust through stock manifolds that I've heard thus far.

Borla though I'm not soo keen on. It was hot like 10 years ago on F-cars now days though not soo great and Borla open plate with a LT header car has some serious nasty rasp.

Something about that doesnt sound right. You either have something wrong inside the engine or an exhaust leak or some crazzy muffler, but its hard to tell from the vid.

Yeah, that almost sounds like a stock manifold car.
I'll take video of mine, you'll have to ignore the ultra ticking that my car has.

I have had my borla for 7 years with no issues.
I run cats and sounds great to me with the middle plate in.
I should never did another catback well worth the coin.

Here's a clip of mine, please forgive the wind. Mine seems to sound quite a bit different, and I don't know if it's due to the cameras or what. You be the judge?

Here is a quick MP3 recording of my rumbler Recorded on my laptop.

http://home.comcast.net/~pewter_cama..._manifolds.mp3

I'm going to a recording using the same latop and such with my new setup a flowmaster 1 chamber on the car dumped before the axle.

Here's a clip of my car at the track with the TSP Rumbler.
