Default Will the car run

I am going to install my ls6 intake that is off a 2002 corvette. Anyway the intake has larger injectors than my 00 ls1 camaro intake. Will it be bad to run the car with the stock tune and these injectors?

Are the corvette injectors 28lbs?

I read they were bigger in 2002 than in previous years in the corvette forum so let me know if I am mistaken.

Thanks

You should use your stock injectors, or have the tune updated to reflect the larger injectors.

It may not be enough to notice without a wideband, but it's not going to benefit you at all. The computer has a predetermined injector flow and that's how it determines how much fuel is being sprayed when it commands a certain amount.

I would use the stock ones too, no need to pay for a tune for just changing the intake. Save your money for bigger mods that need a tune (H/C, cam, LT, etc)

I have the g5x3 cam kooks headers and y lid k&N ported tb and stock heads with a lg motorsports cam kit.

The car needs to be tuned anyways with the cam I have as I am not getting the most I can out of the cam

lUmPs like crazy though....

Thanks for all your replies I got the intake installed and put the bigger injectors in. THey were practically brand new. I know they wont really help but what they hey while I was at it. It only took a couple hours...not too bad for a 1 handed criple (Cast on the other).
