Default Wich cutout DMH or QTP?

I want to get a cutout but since i have a catted Y im going to put it on the I pipe (also because i dont want the fumes in my face) but wich one is a higher quality cutout QTP or DMH? I also noticed that DMH charges around 30 more for Flowtech race ready but what is that? i sent an e-mail to DMH but i havent gotten an answer yet! and the other thing is that i dont know what thiknes to get the cutout! I have a magnaflow cat-back and on there website it says that the thickness is 3/2.5! so wich one is it 3 or 2.5? THANKS alot guys!!!

DMH is definitely the better of the two.

Your Magnaflow is 3". I'm assuming what they mean by 3"/2.5" is it's a 3" cat back with dual 2.5" outlets. I know for a fact the intermediate pipe is 3".

DMH for sure. I had mine for two years, worked flawlessly. Just sold it to a buddy so he could replace his QTP, since I now am running true duals.

No offense, but the number of customers in the past means nothing compared to a manufacturer who stands behind their product for 4 years. A flowtech race ready is the actual cutout, the DMH or QTP is an electric plate that opens and closes the cutout instead of having to get under your car to do it. Check it out here: [url]

DMH Great company!!! I accidently broke mine(my fault) and was ordering another one and he said to send it in and he fixed it for FREE. This kind of service is unheard of so I highly recomend them! They also work great.

I like DMH. I haven't tried QTP so I can't say whether they are good or not..

for the cutout itself, QTP. i have the QTP cutout and it's a work of art. polished stainless steel perfectly welded. it's several months old and still shines like a mirror in my undercarriage.

for the electric plate, i'd probably get the DMH just because it has a better warranty and these things go out occassionally. if QTP had a 4-year warrany like DMH, i'd buy the QTP because i like the company and their products. due to the relatively high failure rate of electric cutouts, the warranty is the most important aspect IMO.

This is how I feel.

I've dealt with a non elec cut out, too often do you want or need to open it on a trip or something sucks to work on a hot cut out, 0 bling factor.

DMH offers better warr that alone really would be selling point for me.
