true dual/corsa experts in here. input please.
true dual/corsa experts in here. input please. ok I'm looking for a sick sounding setup for my Trans am and everytime I hear a corvette with a corsa system I just want it.
so my Idea is to run my QTP LTs into a catted X, 2.5inch all the way over the axle, I would like to run a pipe over each side of the axle to keep it symetrical as possible. and run individual corsa one inlet one outlet mufflers on each pipe.
1. Problem :Corsa doesn't sell them individually.
I found a pair of used ones from a 05-07 Caddy STS for a good enough price. So problem one solved
2. Problem: called corsa and never got an answer as far as overall dementions of the actual mufflers, length/shell OD. and searching the internets is getting boring. I would like to run them just behind the exhaust tips in the indent next to the trunk pan, or longways where the stock muffler is. Size permitting.
3. Problem: When I spoke to the salesmen about the muffler dementions he kept bringing up that each muffler is specifically designed for the harmonics of the car, and that it just won't sound right. I think hes just blowing smoke, I understand if I take the mufflers from one vehicle and put them on another it won't sound like the previous one. But I think the overall Corsa sound which im looking for will be closely achieved.

but i've been wrong many times before. i encourage you to do this and prove me wrong. i hope you do.
i haven't seen any videos yet of true dual fbodys with corsa mufflers yet, so Im hoping it would turn out ok.
