What intake manifold and TB?

What intake manifold and TB? Right now I have a 3.8 but I am building a ls1 I guess. I have the ls1 block with 6 liter heads casting 317 and I was wondering does it make a difference which intake manifold I use and if I should get a 80mm or 90 mm tb?
If you are looking for heads and cam combo, then get the 90/90 for major power. If not the LS6 intake and a ported stocker will always do the trick. Plus it is 1/3rd of the cost.
