ls6 intake question

so i'm getting a new ls6 intake for my 98 z and i was wondering if anyone thought it'd be a worthwhile mod

i have the tea 5.3s along with longtubes a cutout and lid, i'm gonna cam it for graduation and ive heard good power gains after a cam, but what about before?

10 would be nice, is that a good goal with the heads and cutout open?

LS6 intake flows better that the LS1. Several people have reported dyno gains of 5-15HP from the swap. Most of the flow won't be realized until you start adding stuff like a cam. You probably would need a tune to maximize it's potential after install.

Sorry, couldn't find a LS1 test. I know they're out there. I've seen 7HP dyno gains to 12HP dynos people have posted after the LS6 intake...
