Inside of Magnaflow factory replacement muffler? Anyone ever cut open a Magnaflow crossflow replacement muffler?
All the cutaways of their mufflers are of straight through mufflers that only have 1 inlet, 1 outlet, so I'm just curious about how their crossflow is designed to minimize any restriction in the airflow.

If you look inside the inlet opening, you will see how the exhaust is routed to both of the outlets. There is a divider and some exhaust makes a quick turn and goes directly to the adjacent passenger outlet without being muffled at all. The far outlet on the driver side is straight through from the inlet. The passenger side tailpipe is always louder and raspier than the driver side tailpipe if you listen close.

Yep I looked inside of mine right before it was welded in and like he said there is a triangle like divider right in the middle if the pip where the inlet flow hits. Divides it into right and left side and then exits thru the tips.
