just a quick question about borla

just a quick question about borla I just picked up this 3in adj. borla catback for pretty cheap. Looks like the only fab work that is needed is just needs an extra couple feet of 3inch pipe to connect to the y-pipe. I have always wanted a borla so i'm pretty happy.
Now to the question.
My friend has also a 3in adj. borla catback on his 02 ws6. but I was looking at his and its slightly different. The muffler doesn't look so different.. but maybe you can tell me. I love the sound on his with his wide open. I just hope when I get mine installed tomorrow it sounds like his.

the only different i see other than him having that extra piece of pipe is that the driver side pipe out of the muffler is a single pipe and mine is two pipes... will that make any difference? Sorry for the long post, just wanted to make sure before I get this on tomorrow. Thanks so much
