i have the loudmouth and i like it. if i had the money i would get either borla or gmmg. If i really want to be loud i would get true duels.

I have the LM but if I were to get a new cat back it would definately be the GMMG. Love the sound with Y and LT's. Throw a cam on and it makes me . But if you want a good Cat back that will flow great and not too bad on the wallet, LM or LM2

Not meaning to highjack thread, but does anyone have a suggestion as to which catback sounds the best with an open cutout on stock manifolds?

Why would it matter what it sounded like with an open cutout? When the cutout is open all your going to hear is the sound before it travels through the resonator or muffler.

someone suggested TSP rumbler anyone else have any experiences with this catback? Its pretty cheap...cheaper than the Loudmouth II... but of course cheaper is not always the best..I like the idea of choosing my own tips with the TSP.. i could get some corsa clones..

I have that catback. It is samething as a loudmouth except that it is aluminium
and has a dynomax bullet muffler. It is a good sounding catback.I liked it at first but now having it for 2 years I am getting tired of it.I do not like the drone on the highway.2.73 gearing and at 70-75mph at 1800 rpm I hate the drone. But people always tell me it sounds good and can hear me coming. It gets louder with age but preety much any muffler does once broken in.It is nice for the price and that it is lightweight.I do not even have tips onit and the Ta looks good.I got it because TSP was having a sale on it for $170 a few years ago.If you dont like it you coukd always change the bullet.

I just put the LM1 on and I must say with the stock manifolds and Y I'm very surprised on how it sounds. It is not raspy at all and really not that loud. Do get me wrong at WOT it does have some volume but the way everyone talks on here I though it was going to scream. I think the sound is perfect.

I loved my loudmouth with my stock exhaust. I thought it sounded deep and throaty. With headers its a different story though. If you're interested I have one for sale. I had to cut it in the over axle part so it would need welding, but I will let it go for pretty cheap.

A cutout would work great. Maybe an electric cutout would be better. If you are set on a catback, get a loudmouth style (LM1, LM2, TSP Rumbler, Dynomax) if you are staying with stock manifolds, y-pipe. You can always change out the bullet.

Also, don't get Borla, way overpriced. The Loudmouth sounds better to me and there is nothing exotic about the Borla, just has a slightly different sound to it.

Bassani True Dual system.

Nothing beats it for sound or performance, only downside is that its quite expensive at around $779-$900.
