How much HP am I giving up?
How much power am I giving up with this setup:
#1 setup Stock ’00 cast manifolds, Mufflex 2.5” race pipes (in place of cats), SLP 2.5” Y-pipe, SLP 2OTL catback
Over this set up:
#2 setup SLP LT headers & Y-pipe, Random Tech cats, Flowmaster catback
Other mods to the car include common bolt-ons, stall, built tranny, B1 cam, PCM tuning. How much HP is #1 setup losing over #2?
How can you say that when you have no first hand experience. Quit debating the issue and get some Mac's, they're cheap enough. If your not happy with the results, take them off and sell them.
Good luck.

You may be in for a long, long wait if your not happy with the headers that are available now.

This is a wrong assumption on your part. Just because my current LS1 doesn't have headers does NOT mean that I haven't installed and messed with sets on other LS1s in my club. The reason that I'm not happy with my choices is because of those not so good experances.
I'm interested to see how the Bassani headers turn out for our cars. I'm not interested in Macs really.
Jim, glad to hear the pulley worked out for you
