SLP induction kit-is this normal?

SLP induction kit-is this normal?

So I bought the SLP induction kit, and installed it the other day. Looks great, proper install (not exactly complex) however, I noticed today that the top of the air box lid ress against my hood. I tried pushing it down, i tried removing the rubber linning at the ottom, tried the foam, still sits high in the rear, toward the MAFS. Also, it is sitting high enough that it is barely on the clasps...any help, is this normal? It's not a big deal really, I'm just picky sometimes.

In theory it shouldn't touch. Has your radiator ever been removed (and reinstalled)? Mine touched on my previous car and it was no big deal.

theres something that you can remove or shim down to adjust it....i have however seen a few fitment problems before

I've seen people get the hose connection to the throttle bottle turned to the side a little bit and cause that problem. If you didn't already you could try rotating that a little bit to where it causes the lid to sit the lowest.
