Manual Rack and Steering I have seen the manual rack made by Madman and Co., but these pieces are really expensive. While browsing summit's site I found this http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=24891
Why could not this be adapted to use on a LS1? The two pieces look very simular. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Re: Manual Rack and Steering Yes you could adapt these parts to your car. By the time you build the mounts, buy the tierod ends and steering linkage and figure out the bumpsteer you will have more into the setup than you could buy one.
Re: Manual Rack and Steering Yup, I priced all the parts out to modify a Flaming River rack and believe me you can't really save any money. Plus it's professionally welded to hold up.
