You could mount it where the factory amp goes.

Re: Anybody use a fuel pump voltage controller
I've got one, but as the car is in a million pieces right now i can't say how it is.
It will only slow down the pump or run it at full speed, not boost the voltage.
It's really designed for BIG pumps that don't need to be on full blast all the time.
And w/ a pump that's only rated for 400 to 500 hours of life straight from the manufacturer you need all the low power run time you can get.
I guess that's what you get for running a race pump on the street
Here's the stuff going into the fuel system in the next month or so.

Re: Anybody use a fuel pump voltage controller
I see, I thought it could boost the voltage.
So you don't think it would be useful on my car with a 255 Walbro pump?

I've run a walbro 255 full blast and then some without issue. The last few months before the teardown i was running a volt blaster to bump my alternator to 16V under boost. I was running out of pump
IMHO, the walbro is fine at full power all the time.
"Screw the loud exhaust, fear the loud fuel pump"
