Default Help with bad Dyno numbers!

I just dyno'd for the first time to get a baseline before my heads and cam, this is what I have done to the car so far:

Lid w/K&K
Ported MAF
MAC headers w/ORP
Catback
4.10 gears

Car is a 98 M6 and my best dyno was 324hp and 333tq. That seems very low for having headers. Anyone have similar mods on a 98 that can cheer me up or offer me solutions? I'm thinking I may have some false knock.

How much power do 4.10's rob at the dyno?

It sounds about right to me for a '98 w/ 410's. My roommate's '98 Z28 put 308 to the wheels with a lid and catback. Your gears will show a loss of 10-12 RWHP on the dyno from what other guys have said that have done the swap. Also, was this SAE corrected on a Dynojet, on a Mustang dyno, or what? That will make a difference. Take it to the track and see how it performs. The dynos are made for tuning tools only, not for dyno racing.

This is corrected on a dynojet. My air/fuel was flat on 13 until about 4800rpm, then shot up close to 14 for the rest of the run. What would that do t omy power and what would cause it to do that?

Greg u should of stayed there for my dyno it was pretty wild. I made 3 pulls First pulls was 372 426 tq 2nd was 369 and 430tq with the A/F dead on perfect. and the last pull my whole underneath of my car caught on fire. I had a nitrous backfire, it was flaming pretty good till we found a extuingusher to put the fire our. Anyways it made 489 and 511tq all corrected. Then went to beech bend ran a 3 runs 12.0 at 118.2 on a 2.0 60' 2nd run 11.45 at 119.8 with a 1.78 60' both runs N/A then i blew the motor up on the third run. So its sittin in my garage waiting with the motor out of it. I pulled it form the top it was a pain in the ***. So now Im without for a while till my 427 is finished up. I had a pretty shitty day.

I have a 98 Z28 and thats about where I am with the same mods. I just dynoed Sat. and got 321.7rwph and 335.5rwt but I was running rich as ****, 12's to 11.3 at the end of the runs. The guy at the Dyno said that I could get 6 to 12 if I lean it out a little. Time to sink some more money in it. I'm getting rid of the POS Mac Cats
