Thinking of duals read this
All runs with lock TC and no other changes to car
10/13/06- dyno day
regular catback with cut out TC locked
open-400.3 rwhp 369.45rwtq SAE 1.02
closed-395.49rwhp 365.76rwtq SAE 1.02
temp 70.91* 26% Humidity
2/5/07- After 3" True Duals H-pipe 1 chambers
398.50rwhp 367.52rwtq SAE 0.99
Temp 56.87* 30% Humidity (colder weather dyno less when I thought I would have gains)
4/14/07- Dyno Day (switched 1 chambers for bullets hoping to gain some power thought these would flow much more than others)
390.03rwhp 362.44rwtq SAE 1.00
Temp 55.98* 38% Humidity
These things are loud as hell, raddle my whole car and I didnt gain S#!T not only that I lost 10.27rwhp and 7.01rwtq and with QA1's went .03 slow and no gain on 60'.
So if you're thinking of getting them think again, a good cat-back will do you better unless you have more cubes and power
Now I know, I am not bitching about how high my numbers are, I am bitching about spending $510 to lose 10hp, now had I lost that and gone faster at the track thats one thing but I didn't. so I might see a nice catback going back on for good in the near future
