Default evans vs meziere

which pump is better???

evans says that their pump flows more coolant than stock and maintains an equal coolant flow to both banks...

meziere says that thier pump increases power and runs the motor cooler...
(do you really need a standard small block chevy t-stat w/ these pumps or does the LS1 stat work too???)

which would be better for a turbo+nitrous road race/daily driver w/ 5-15psi of boost, 100 shot of gas @ 10:1 compression on 346ci????

I have no idea the differences between the two (I run a Meziere), so I won't comment on that.

As for needing a small block Chevy thermostat with the Meziere - you do. The thermostat goes in a different spot in the EWP. SBC Thermostats are much cheaper than the LS1 stats, which makes it nice. Swapping thermostats is also super easy (you don't even have to drain the entire radiator).

I have a Meziere in a 402. You can omit the small block thermostat that comes with it and use the stock LS1 thermostat. It is your option as to which thermostat you use.
