Extened Protection Plan ???

Extened Protection Plan ??? Ok.. I have a 2000 WS6 and GM just mailed me my
Extened warrteny plan options as Im 2k shy of 36k miles..
Cost is $1100-1500 depending on what coverage I may want..
Has Anyone had problems on the LS1 or the WS6 itself thats covered under warrenty??
I just took it in last week for Alternator and rear end bushings that were covered under the 3/36mile plan..

Re: Extened Protection Plan ??? When I got my LS1 it was almost 3 yrs old and had 222 miles on it. So the year part of the warranty was almost up. I bought a 5 yr 80,000 for (I think) $3,000. I go over 80,000 next week. I have had more than $3,000 worth of work done.
Some of it might have been self induced ( getting it dragged in to reset the PCM), but I had a rear hub assembly go bad and needed to be replaced. Thinking back on it I'm probably closer to even.
But it was nice to know in the back of my mind that if the whining noise I was hearing (when the hub went bad)was anything worse, like the rearend or transmittion, it was going to be covered.
I wish I could buy coverage for the next 80,000.
