Are you talking about coating or polishing, they are 2 different things. I talked to Craig at GTP about thermal barrier coating the runners on my Holley intake and he said it would be about $250.00. I had it port matched and the runners polished for $100.00. $500.00 is really crazy. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

I had a set of cast aluminum Buick GN valve covers JetHot coated and they looked really nice.
Alot cheaper than the price you quoted.

Re: Anyone coat thier Holley intake? The shop doing my heads said $100 to port match and do some opening up of the runners.Was wondering on ther jet hot coating because $500 to get a show polish job is a litle nuts.If I put any ice on it or anything like that I'll end up ruining the polish job.

Re: Anyone coat thier Holley intake? Nick at ARE quoted me about 200 for a local guy. Nick is porting mine to put on my new engine and he is having it coated. I'll let you know when it comes back and we get a concrete price. I can't remember the name of the company that is doing it. PolyDyn in Houston is who GTP uses. They are supposed to be really good as well.
