Default NEED HELP! Problems With Headers after Install

I just got my SLP Headers, Off Road Pipe, Y-Pipe, and Borla catback installed. Everything was fine for about 10 minutes, and then my Service Engine Soon Light came on. Like I said, when I left, no problems. About 10 miles down the road, the service engine soon light came on.
Problem #2 is that the car seems to running too rich. If I let the car idle for about 5 minutes, it sounds like it is flooding out. You can also smell gas pretty bad from behind.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

THe first thing I would check would be on the driver side head. Next to the #1 spark plug there is a sensor. Make sure it is plugged in and not broke. I believe that is the engine coolant sensor. If it is broke off, your car would run rich I believe.

Did you hook your O2 sensors back up? EGR? AIR? Also, are you running O2 simms?

Those are good suggestions too (O2 sensors and such).

Here is a picture of the sensor I am talking about.

Yes, I am running o2 simms. I have checked all my connections, and as far as I can tell everything is OK. I have even tried disconnecting the battery to reset the computer, but that didn't work either. Keep the ideas coming. THANKS AGAIN. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

seems lately a few people have been getting ses lights from running too rich/lean on a certain bank after header install. Any access to autotap to check the code?? You might need a maft to lean it or richen it up depending on the situation the headers changed. How is your idle?? if the EGR is jacked then idle will be way worse. Are the gaskets on the AIR and EGR in pretty good condition..can you feel any air leaks? Are all of the plugs still connected. I know after my flps i drove 5 mins and got a shaking and SES light, turns out one of the plug wires came loose and was misfiring. Put it back and its been great sense. Check the obvious, then scan that code. Good luck! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

About the only thing to do at this point is find someone with Auto Tap and get that code scanned. Maybe you have a plug wire loose like described above.

You did use the o2 sims on the rear o2's right? Did you use extensions for the front o2's? Make sure all the connnections are good.

If all that is good i would try a different o2 sensors up front (you should have two left over) to make sure they are not faulty or got damaged.

I just had the same problem with my SLP's, I first found a loose o2 simm,, the light went off for about 50 miles or so and came back on, this time I scanned it and I am getting code that says it is not switching fast enough from lean to rich on by passenger side o2 in the header, man I swear if you spit on engines now the damn SES light will come on. Oh well I'm gonna switch my o2's and then rewire the wiring hopefully that will cure it,
